For Parents, Grandparents and Guardians
As school attacks continue, it seems we as a society are subconsciously becoming immunized
to losing our children.
This is simply unthinkable and unacceptable.
No longer can we as parents accept “it won’t happen at our school”. We must change the safety protocols and culture in our schools. Schools and parents must take a stand and ask the ultimate question....
What will it take to actually
protect our children in school?
After the desk received the patent, both inventors went straight to local schools for teacher and school administration introduction and input. Some of the biggest requirements for the teachers were their flexibility for classroom desk layouts (share pair, quad desk seating etc), making the desks scratch resistant and the ability to easily move the desks around. After months of final design, we are incorporating the teacher's, school admin and maintenance suggestions into the design process.
